Ralph Shayne is an Operating Partner of ACP, focused on investment opportunities in the specialty finance, warranty, asset management and insurance markets, with a particular interest in finding applications of disruptive technology trends, such as AI, blockchain and predictive analytics, that can provide operational lift and a competitive advantage.
Ralph brings to Altamont an entrepreneurial track record that includes building three unique businesses in specialty finance and telecommunications from the ground up. He co-founded two undisputed market leaders, Oasis Financial, which provide consumer legal funding and medical lien factoring, and PayLink Direct, which provides payment plans for vehicle service contracts. Ralph built a national direct to consumer brand through direct response TV and digital campaigns, and provided industry leadership on the regulatory front. He has guided these businesses through multiple successful ownership exits.
Ralph earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Haverford College in physics.
